Rea the Care Bear and Pete the Perch: ReEmployAbility’s customer service mascots

This month, we are very excited to introduce Rea, the “Care” Bear.

Rea the Care Bear will be awarded by our Client Services Managers once a month to an employee who consistently provides exemplary customer service and continually goes above-and-beyond to meet our customers’ needs.

To us, our customers include all the people we serve: injured workers, claims professionals, not-for-profit partners, and our fellow employees. We believe every day and every interaction is a chance to “Make Their Day!”

Client Services Managers often receive notes and comments of appreciation commending how our staff works with each unique case with professionalism and empathy. Client Service Managers wanted to go beyond sharing this appreciation with the staff, they wanted to recognize individuals that “Care” about our customers and show it in their daily interactions.

“Providing excellent customer service is truly a team effort,” said Client Services Manager Rebecca Schaefer, “We wanted to recognize the many staff members across departments that are outstanding and show their passion for helping our customers.”

The selection for the very first Rea the Care Bear Award was not an easy one given the incredible effort demonstrated by so many of our staff every day. But Rea is a traveling Care Bear, and next month she will travel to another amazing ReEmployAbility team member’s desk.

Rocky, our first Care Bear Award winner

Our first winner was Rocky M., one of our Team Leads in the Operations Department. He was nominated and awarded for his quick response time to emails, his positive attitude with other team members, and his dedication to making the Transition2Work program easy to navigate and efficient for our clients and injured workers.
