Later this month, our team will be exhibiting at 23rd Annual National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference & Expo (NWCDC) in Las Vagas, NV.  At this year’s conference, November 19 through 21, we will be introducing our Transition2Work program to include all forms of short term job modification needs of employers.

Since 2007, we’ve offered Transition2Work nationwide as a supplement to workers’ compensation Return-to-Work programs.  By placing injured workers at local nonprofit organizations to perform light duty work when their employer cannot accommodate their physical restrictions on-site, the program provides benefits to the injured worker, company, and the community.  Those same benefits our workers’ compensation clients already realize  — costs savings, reduced claim duration, and helping injured workers get back to work quickly while making a positive contribution to their community — extend to non-occupational disability claims.

Our clients are increasingly seeking comprehensive solutions to not only accommodate occupational injuries, but also temporary non-occupational disabilities. Those clients who are already using Transition2Work for their Integrated Disability programs are experiencing excellent results, including positive feedback from their employees, which is a defining factor for any successful Return-to-Work program.

The now in its 23rd year, the NWCDC is attended by over 260 vendors and 2,000 industry professionals from across the United States and considered to be a leading training event for workers’ compensation and disability management industries. As a leading event focusing on both workers’ compensation and disability management, the NWCDC is the right place for us to give introduction to Transition2Work for all injuries – both occupational and non-occupational.
